Edit a "pending" payment request

Edit/correct a payment request after it has been created

For payment requests sent to your customers, you can now edit those requests while they're in the "pending" status.

This can be useful if you've sent the request to the wrong email address or mobile number, or entered a typo in the customer's name, or requested the wrong amount.

To edit a request:

  1. Locate the request in your dashboard

  2. Tap the 3 dots to view the action menu

  3. Select "edit request"

You'll be presented with this pop up:

  • Edit any of the fields presented

  • Tap "Revert" to reset the value to whatever was there before you began editing

  • Tap "Update" to apply the change, or "Cancel" to exit without making a change to the request

Once changed:

  1. Use the "resend request" function to send SMS/email again via Rello, if desired

  2. If the request was originally created via an integrated partner (e.g. your CRM or accounting system), consider if you need to update the request within that system - Relllo won't do so automatically via API

We'll look at making more data fields on the request editable - let us know if you have any specific ideas/needs!
