When a property is sold

What happens when a property is sold with an active RelloPay agreement?

Congratulations! This is the outcome we're all aiming for ...

Now that a contract is in place, Rello recommends the following:

  1. The agent or vendor should advise Rello that the property is under contract and what the estimated settlement date is

  2. The agent should also confirm if payment to Rello will be made by the agent or the vendor's conveyancer - if via the conveyancer, the vendor must confirm this advice to the conveyancer

  3. Once the property settles, the agent or conveyancer will pay Rello to close out the agreement on behalf of the vendor

If payment is not received per the agreement and advised timing, Rello may auto-debit the vendor's card or account - so it's best to ensure clear and accurate communications between everyone involved.

If there's any issue with making payment, contact Rello as soon as possible to resolve or discuss alternative options.
